If you need help, you may call the Russell House 24-hour Domestic Violence crisis line at
1-800-998-8340 or the Sexual Assault Crisis Line at 1-888-570-3703. A victim advocate will be able to help if you are in a safe place. A victim advocate understands what you are going through and will be able to answer any questions you have. After you complete the call, hang up, dial 1, and hang up again. This prevents anyone from using redial on the telephone to see who you were calling.
If you are not needing shelter at this time, you may still be eligible for other Russell House services as a non-resident.
Have a pen and paper with you to jot down information you discuss with the victim advocate. Take your time and remember, anything you say during your call is completely confidential no matter what you decide.
In addition, trained advocates are available to join you
at the hospital to provide support.
